SMFG India Credit and Singapore’s Fullerton Financial Holdings lease 1.94 lakh sqft office space in Mumbai
SMFG India Credit Ltd, a part of Japanese conglomerate Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMFG) along with Fullerton Financial Holdings (FFH), an NBFC, has signed a deal with Embassy Office Parks REIT to lease 1.94 lakh square feet space in Mumbai, for setting up its biggest office space in the country. SMFG India Credit’s Corporate office will continue to be in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai, the company said in a statement.(For Image) SMFG India Credit has leased the office space spread across the ground, first and eleventh floor of Embassy 247, which is a Grade-A office park with a total area of 1.18 million square feet, in Mumbai's eastern suburb of Vikhroli, Embassy Office Parks REIT said in a statement. This action is consistent with SMFG's intentions for expansion in India.
